Love walking barefoot on mud and freshly cut crass. I really like having a nice green tinge to my soles.
I'm fairly certain that every barefooter on the planet would answer this question with a resounding "YES!" I'd also be willing to bet that approximately 98% would express a preference for barefooting in nature over man made environments.
ALL the time. I regularly walk on all the natural surfaces one would expect in Maine: grass, forest floor duff like pine and spruce needles and leaves; moss and bare soil and sand. Brooks, beaches, both lake and sea. And the expanses of solid granite. Sometimes snow, too.

Broke my left foot, and damaged nerves which are an ongoing issue. Twisted my right ankle at one stage, neednd a boot so I could still walk on my crutches while the left was in a cast . Not so good for barefooting though!
Hi Meg, walking barefoot in nature is a great thing. Over the Ascension Day weekend i did hike with friends in the northern Vosges mountains, wonderful trails on forest, sandy and sandstone rock terrain. I made all three and a half days on my bare feet and did enjoy it very much!
Oh absolutely. I love feeling the Earth beneath my feet, the mud swishing between my toes, soft tickly grass. Nothing like it.

love all the terrains , particularly the deep of woods and muddy paths. to be honest i go looking for mud... never miss a patch of fresh clay grass is gentle, terrain covered with branches is spicy and mud is blissful. frozen grass feels so unreal ! moss is nature's own velvet and thorns, yes, happen. i can never have enough of hiking barefoot.
Yes i like very much! Especially in a forest or along a beach where the tide goes out for miles. To be honest though i love barefooting in the city more. Despite all the dirt, the smooth surfaces just feel so good.
