Okay, so i was flippin through my High Times the other day, and I saw an ad for the lowryders. The only thing that's kept me from growing all these years is getting caught by helicopters, because I live in a very conservative area which puts a lot of time and money into marijuana eradication efforts.

So i was thinking, these look like they'd be very, very difficult to spot from the air. Is this true?

Also, are they any good? Like...I saw like...white widow lowryder, but are the THC percentages any good? And also, what are the yields like for these little guys?

    Thanks!

I've personally only had a friend grow the original LR and lowryder 2, it seems that people either love or hate lowryder, or love to hate it...I personally really enjoy LR 2, it is a nice creeper high of surprisingly decent potency. As far as yield goes...I've seen some bigger ones yield upwards of an ounce and some runts yield less than a quarter. The only con that I noticed was that there is a lot of heterogeneity in the strain IE pretty much every plant can look/grow different. If you're going to try I would recommend checking out the new Diesel Ryder...but really any of them are recommended, especially for a stealth grow

I think you should get it. I would. Its probably the best out door plant because its so small. Even if it is smelled it would be hard to find, and it doesnt stick out on ground or from the air. Plus a mini plant would be cool. Just get a few to make up for the size difference. (You can probably grow it like in a garden or on a secluded area if you dont live near anyone, or have a garden with taller plants)

If you are going to put in the proper time and effort then imho don't bother with em... LR seems good for people who want to grow in pc towers or maybe get an early crop in outside, but otherwise it's just a novelty... Spend your money on something with quality in mind... who wants to grow weak shit? Plenty of stuff out there that stays relatively small and packs way more of a punch...

I haven't noticed anything lacking at all about even original lowryder's potency, the ruderalis has nearly no noticeable reduction in potency; besides it has some great strains in it's lineage William's Wonder, Northern lights, and now the newer crosses are using the likes of New York City Diesel and REALLY boosting THC content. To each his own, however, it seems that most people who hate on LR really don't have extensive experience with it, just repeat other peoples opinions. The last stash I burned through was paradise seeds Whiteberry and Lowryder 2, I LOVED both and mixing them was that much better.

You're right, to each his own... As far as potency is concerned, yeah I bet if you pop a bunch of lowryders you might find a couple that come out decent quality... but you can't even take cuts and keep moms of LR since it's an autoflower... Spend a bunch of money on seeds and you can't even keep the winners around? Doesn't make much sense, especially if you have room to run better stuff...
