Different people respect different people so I don't know. No one decides their status, they just get respected by a lot of people instead of a few friends. Hence the Highly.

You saying that there is an established hierarchy? I think respect is decided on an individual basis - who you do and dont get along with.
Im aware that I dont truly know anyone - I just see bits and pieces of personalities, so I more or less respect everyone on the same level. I dont really think about it

I respect people who tolerate other people's opinions. That doesn't mean people who don't argue back, but people who don't have to hit back with a personal attack or insult, even if what the other person said is total bullshit.

I also respect people who admit to being scared. Strange, but true
