    Hypothetical scenario 1:
A young man goes out on a saturday night, takes some girl he pulls home and sleeps with her, finds out later that she wasn't in fact 18, but 15 and 3/4's. He gets sent down for a couple of years, branded a monster and placed on the sex offenders list.

    Real scenario 2:
A 49 year old foster mum attacks an 11 year old girl at a party, leaving her severely traumatised and with multiple facial injuries. She gets let off with a £250 fine!

Talk about getting off lightly, I'd have put her away for at least a few years for that, fuck's sake!

the first hypthetical scenario is an accident. not justice one bit. the second real scenario is fucked up! unfortunately that is sometimes how shit happens. the woman in the second real scenario should have been put away for a long time.

no it's not justice. i often wonder about the severity of punishments dished out by courts. so many times i find they are much to soft on murderers etc. they can be out in 10 years, its riduculous. in some circumstances i truelly believe life should mean life.

i cant recall the exact details but i think it was in america, i chap robbed millions of dollars and got 150 years or so in prison when caught.........i feel that takin a life is worse than robbing and infinite amount of money....therefore in my view....this prison sentance was unjustified.........although i suppose it depends which state of america as they have the death sentence in some.

i apologise if most of that was incoherant.

and men that are given false information by girls and then go on to have sex with eventually find out there real age are in my opinion not at fault at all. like i also dont believe a mans name should be printed in newspapers on allegations of rape until they are proved and he is found guilty of such a crime. a lot of cases can be lies or girl just to pissed to recall consent. in which case its just as much her own fault for getting so tanked up.

What angers me most about the law is how lenient they usually are on REAL child molesters and abusers. Not people accidently sleeping with 15 year olds or anything (load of hype if you ask me) but the REAL paedos and sickos, constantly preying on and hurting small kids, they just couldnt give 2 shits about them, honestly (apart from the odd media fuelled frenzy) Its sad that children arent seen as being fully human in the eyes of the law...surely crimes against them are the worst of all:mad:

I bet if this had been a guy who had done this, the punishment would have been way more severe. In fact, if it had been a guy he probably would have received his punishment long before the police had arrived (hopefully).
