spidermites on my mother plants

i have a great catalog of mothers that are infested with spidermites(watch who you get clones from!). im going to hit them with avid and hope for the best. is it possible for me to take clones, rinse them really good, dip them in miteacide, pop em in the good ol ez-ccloner, and isolate them away from the infected mothers? any other suggestions are gladly accepted........THANKS!

If you do cutting from infected plants and isolate them then ya stand a chance of spreading the mites and stressing out your mother plants at a time when ya wanna be keeping the stress level down if you do take cutting your better off treating them as a job lot. With chemical treatments ya gotta go in hard and wipe them all out coz mites can become immune too it if ya only do half the job. And i'd leave it 4 weeks after any treatment before blooming coz ya dont really wanna be smoking any left over chemicals from the treatment.
