I'm sure most people have seen this, but if you think Sonia Sotomayor is racist for saying her past experience will influence her, you should take a look at this video of Alito. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vNfyZWnQVnQ I guess you could argue 2 wrongs don't make a right, and that Alito is a racist too, but I think it's really that some Republicans only think it's racist if you're Latina. I think it's a pretty poor strategy for Republicans, especially because she is almost certain to be confirmed. They must just be doing it for a political show since it won't affect the outcome. Don't they realize they already have the scared, white, male racist vote? Or is it so bad that they really just want to hold onto that?
