I was going to say: Not that old chestnut...but I won't...oops I did. Anyhoo... That could account for a slice of the world, America, not all of it. Plus, it is shockingly vague. Thanks anyway.
You're good at something, correct? A talent? Every so often, I see someone who is what you would call a virtuoso at what they do, a duck in the water so to speak. Musicians, athletes, public speakers, etc. The people who I am talking about are virtuosos of power over people. Hitler started as a man who got drunk at the bar with his friends a lot, and got very close to world domination because of his virtuosity at the ability to control others. Don't you think there is a person or persons with the same or greater hold over the human psyche? Any man is capable of any task, this is no secret. PS: I wasn't suggesting that you are one the most powerful men in the world haha, although you in a way you are as are all of us.
Not to my knowledge. Well, when you have an army, secret police and dictatorial powers...it is not so difficult to have a hold over people. I'd agree he had power over many many people, but I'd dispute he was very close to world domination. The further from his sphere of influece the weaker his strengh was. Not quite, but almost I 'spose...with a lot of willing helpers. I know, I was joking. Obviously I'm not a very talented comedian. Btw the last part (after haha) barely made sense, but I get your point...just.
Ok well bad example then . MOST people have a talent, just not you ha I guess to further clarify my point, look at life the way I look at it. When you wake up in the morning, you can walk out your door and do ANYTHING. If you want to start an instrument, play it 6 hours a day, and become a jazz great, you can do that. If you want to leave and never come back, you can do that too. If you decide to build an empire, study hard on psychology, public speaking, economics, and observe thought patterns of people, you CAN do that. Its all a matter of will power on whether or not you succeed. Talent, and fortuitous circumstances aide in how easily your goal is achieved. I believe we are being manipulated by a small group of people will strong wills and very fortuitous circumstances. Related or not to the intentions of these virtuosos, people have set themselves up to be ruled by a small group of people by accepting federal laws, national borders, and on and on. What brings me hope is that people can change and I see that change growing. You can destroy those in power, but due to society's mindset, the position of power will be filled. People believe they need to be controlled in deep parts of the mind. This was not always the case, nor will it be for much longer. Sorry for the long post! :hat:
A. I don't mind not having any talent (I get to have early nights and lots of free time.) B. What is your talent? I do believe in raw talent...you can seem to be a "great" in many spheres of life...but learning something and truly having a talent in it is different. Many people can copy the "greats" but are they original? Nope, could they create ? Nope. If we use Hitler as an e.g again; his "Empire" failed. Why, because his plan and personnel fragmented. Forgeting what he wanted and to focus on how he went about it... I can see it took (for want of a better word) talent. The reason I feel it ultimately failed is because it was not an original idea, and he had not studied how and why such schemes fail or succeed. To be honest, I am happy with the laws that govern me and the borders I remain within. This is because fundementaly I live in a good system of governance. But, many do not...for instance I was only just reading that the Hamas covenant is in part lifted from the Protocols of Zion...a forged and antisemtic text. Something based on something that is known to be flawed and is racist, can't be the best way to be governed. My mind is not controled per se, I just have no talent to rise above my basic programming...but, I am very happy, thanks. Don't worry about that, there is a thread in the politics section of the forum about long posts and people not reading them TL DR (or something like that.) Yours was not that long and it was interesting to read. Mines longer *cough* and perhaps not so interesting to read.
Well even if you don't have a talent, you definitely have something that you enjoy doing. A talent is something you enjoy doing and happen to be gifted from birth with that ability. I'm just saying that in every field, there are the cream of the crop, the most gifted, the hardest working. As in sports, music, art, what have you, there are people who have a natural aptitude in the art of controlling crowds and that THESE people are who we should hunt down. Blaming cops and politicians for our problems is merely 'shooting the messenger'. Well I don't want to turn this into a discussion about Hitler, but he made a couple huge mistakes which directly lead to his downfall such as the head of the navy and the head of the air force absolutely hated each other and did not cooperate effectively, he led an invasion into russia, and he let Japan get America involved too early. Part of the reason for these mistakes could have been the many chemicals Hitler's doctor administered, or it could have been mental instability showing itself. Either way, he was just one man. I was using him as an example for how far a man can go with the proper will power. There have been other men (Zedong, Gengis Khan, Napoleon, etc) who also came from humble backgrounds and, within the span of their lifetimes built up MASSIVE power over people. They all made mistakes and failed eventually. If all these men failed in the past, when the world was fragmented and there was no planes, cars, internet, television, or news, doesn't the stage seem set for another man to achieve where others failed? Human conscious is malleable, like clay, and with tv's in every home, advertisements, the 'wealth of information' available, mass amounts of people are easier to control than ever. The climb to power was not violent and noticeable because people believe that the tv tells them what is happening in the world. There is so much going on that we don't know about yet, but you have to personally hunt for the truth outside of the internet and tv to find it. Why I believe the men in control are not the politicians is because the whole political scene seems like such an act. Obama bought the presidency and received support from the media, the colbert report and daily show, and almost all college students voted for him without even thinking why. Reality TV? Today there is a man or men who have gained control over much of the world through gradually using events such as the Vietnam war, 9/11, anthrax attacks, and gang activity to slowly place laws that constrict the population, as if in a game of chess. Gun laws are stricted than ever, gun crimes have not really changed. This just means that it is now very difficult to obtain firearms legally compared to the past. The patriot act allows police to arrest anyone for any reason. Traffic laws mean that police can pull over almost any vehicle for one reason or another.
The point of this thread was not for me to prove points, just to see what others thought about my observations. If you read (which i'm sure you have as I've seen you around here for a while) the conspiracy forums, a lot of people fit into those stereotypes. I'm not saying every theorist is one of them, but those are just some broad categories. Thanks to drew for saying his part, a logical post for the most part. As for proof, just talk to theorists and read their stuff, it's apparent I think. I'm not trying to be confrontational, but if you don't notice this in the slightest then you must not be reading throughly. The Mushroom Man
This statement is like communism. Not in the economic, pop-culture (aka evil) view of it, but in a social sense. If, like hard-line communists believe, everyone can work together, then yes, government is useless and we can all live in communes (thus the term "communist"). Unfortunately, this is untrue and is quite frankly a pipe dream. there are too many people who need to fuck with other people that this just wont work. Government is nessecary, because without them, whether they be good or bad, a lot worse stuff would happen. Even without the government starting wars and executing aqnd lying and all the other things they do/people say they do, people would still die. There is a sizeable portion of the population who would kill someone no problem but don't simply because they know the consequences. that is the purpose of governemnt, by and large: to enforce the rules. Whether or not they currently do is up in the air, but that was the intent of forming a government int he first place. The Mushroom Man
