Decided to backcomb due to my job... didn't want to give them any reason to start complaining about my hair. I also backcombed cause i wanted my dreads to be a certain size.
I work for Best Buy and although we don't deal directly with the customers some of the workers there seem to have nothing better to do than to complain about people's style. I know for a fact that if I get the bright red tips that I used to have they'll give me crap about it.
so did it take u a month to backcomb them all or did u keep re-backcombing them??? jus curious.. they look absolutely amazing!!!!!!!! love em love em love em! i may try to re backcomb if the results are like ur dreads!
I didn't re-backcomb them... it just took me a month to get to all of them since I was extremely busy at the time. I think the results of my dreads have to do with my hair being naturally curly and thick.
mine r almost 2 months (i lost count actually) and they dont look anything like urs at all... still got strands of loose hair n its a mess.. ive taken pics of them but havent posted the recent ones cause the pics do them no justice at all.. they look worse in the pics..lol
my hair wasn't all that damaged... the only damage i really had was on my red tips... i think the lady that did my tips red ended up drying out my hair.
i do hafta asgree with what was said about the evenness being the biggest drawback as far as dreads go they look pretty on you cause yiour very pretty, but the evenness takes away from the natural organic beauty of dreads..just alittle though and im sure over time they'll look more normal (normal as in, anything but normal..unique, each and every 1 different)
