I need some advice. When I was in school (40 years ago) I was a big psyc. freak.

We've had a lot of rain around here and I couldn't help but pick a couple of Srooms from along a fence line. My question is --- I have 3 small Srooms - If I just want a light but noticeable buzz - how many should I take? It's been so many years I can't judge.

Would you be able to take a picture to show us? We will tell you if they are psychedelic or not.

My area of expertise. A picture would help a lot. Are they little brown mushrooms? Could you describe them? I think it is awesome that a 61 year old dood (chick?) is wanting to try mushrooms again!

Anyways, I would eat all three once they were identified.

Hmmm - I discribed them earlier - I wonder if it got pulled. They have a white to purplish white crown with deep purple gills. The skirt around the stem also appears purple (from the spores I think). There grow directly on top of a cow patty. I would not trust them if the were not on the patty. It has been years but I remember them very well. Are they different varieties in different areas? I'm in the deep south.

Pictures would REALLY help. There are non psychedelic mushrooms that grow on cow patties.

This is the one I am referring to -- I'm still curious about other varieties and what part of the country they grow in.
