Man, those meetings make me want to bark, I get so nervous. Thank goodness it was AWESOME news. How do you do around 'the boss'?
I don't have a boss atm. My previous one loved me. Though, I hated her and despised the fact that she was such a goddamn crazy-lunatic of an insecure bitch-- we got along.
He's a little scary.... but it was good new, I think he actually likes me a little. Everyone else is getting a paycut to 9/hr, and he told me I get 10... so it was a good meeting if I say so.
i've only been around him once, and that was the "interview" well, wasn't really an interview, more just a general chat and shit talking about some things. lots of swearing and what not. seems pretty cool.
We work next to each other, side by side every day, so it's pretty much a normal day, dealing with the boss. And when the district manager comes in, well, I avoid her, she's not my boss, she's my boss's boss. Not to mention, she wants to talk FOREVER and ask me all about my home life and stuff, and while I was happy to share when she was my manager, I'd just rather the entirety of our region not know my business. She's kind of unprofessional like that.
I'm not on the boss's favorites list. That's reserved for ppl who've been grandfathered in. You either need to be related to someone or already have your best friend working there.
I am my own boss too...and I kind of like talking to me when I'm in a good mood...but when I'm bitchy I can be a real asshole.
