It's been a while so here's a pic dump/update

These were yesterday...7 monthsish (I lost count) natural.

I didn't think yours were natural. Regardless they look good.

 

I thought that at first too. But look how much hair she has. The longer the hair, the faster it knots up

 

uhh as far as i remember she was a wax queen before she came here.
but they look good either way.
i like the tips.

 

I used wax and had someone lock up my hair in a totally non acceptable way. Then I took it all down, boiled out the wax and started over with nothing

So you took out all the wax?

Or did you take them (the dreads) out completely?

 

I boiled the wax out of my hair and then unbraided/untwisted them. I boiled again and again until all the wax was gone. I think like 5 locks remained partially braided for about an inch or so in them because my arms wanted to fall off after all of the maintenance. The only ones that had braids in them after I took it all down were ones near the nape of my neck - they were the last ones I worked on and I was just done by then!!

pretty much all mammals except most people eat their placenta b/c its good for them. its not that gross.
