Okay so the question's pretty simple but I want to explain my reasoning for coming up with it. I collect DVD's: mostly movies with a few select TV shows throw in. Usualy the TV show DVD's I go for are the shows that are no longer on the air. Within the past few months I bought all the first four seasons of Two & a Half Men on DVD. I loved the show and figured it'd be a great addition to my collection. And then as I went through watching each season of the show (whether I watched it alone or with my mom), I suddenly found myself watching hour after hou of the show in one day... Eventualy I got tired of the empty feeling it was giving me. I've since sold all seasons of the show and rarely watch the TV reruns.... since I've seen them all at least five times already. So my question to you all is: do you prefer watching shows on DVD or on TV? Which do you have positive feelings abuot?
I like watching shows/movies on tv,however mainly on stations with NO commercials, like Turner Classic Movies,Encore Westerns etc.--I'm not into DVDs but am considering a DVR player,so I can watch what I want, when I want to,and if I view something on a station that shows commercials I'd just fast forward through the BS adverts.--And with Turner Classics, who needs DVDs anyhow-it's probably one of the best tv stations around.
