I just watched a news report on some middle schoolers in San Antonio that were ARRESTED for starting a food fight. Are you serious? I mean, I could understand if someone got hit in the head with a tray or something, but according to the report nothing like that occurred. I remember being involved in a food fight or two back in the day, and no one considered it battery. WTF
If the students were black then that's nothing new since studies from across the country have found that black students are more apt to be disciplined for subjective offenses than their white counterparts Also in S.A. there was an arrest warrant issued for an overdue book Hotwater
Omg this thread is great. I remember back in junior high all us 8th graders would have wooden slap sticks that we made in woodshop class, we would all start wars between us and the 7th graders slapping each other and it was soo much fun, and the 7th graders would play along. As we were leaving me and another 8th grader would slap stick this one kid walking by himself which we thought was a perfect target, but as we were slapping both sides of him, he ran away, sooner than later, i learned he ran directly to the office, CRYING LIKE A LITTLE FAG BABY BITCH, and said that some older kids assaulted him with batting objects. Well me and the other kid got arrested and had to go to juvi for a few hours. I mean come on, we got hit by the same stuff from the 7th graders, and we knew it diddn't hurt, thats why we knew it was just a game. Lesson learned, some people truley are pussies.
even getting hit in the head with a tray... there's been fights in schools where the person getting hit has the choice of pressing charges to the person who hit them, that's awful it's just a little bit of fun for kids man.
We used to get in trouble with bandannas, eventually they were banned from campus... but yes sir, people are pussies... it was all in good fun, if I really wanted to hurt someone, I would think something up much, much worse than throwing my sandwich at them edit: yes, i remember hearing something about the over due library book, was a college girl wasn't it? for a city library
That is just plain crazy, arresting someone for a food fight. Its just stupid and seems like a waste of police resources if you ask me.
i remember in middle school seeing my principals eating lunch together and i found out a few months ago they were having an affair for a good 10 years... that has nothing to do with anything but yeah
Stop your bitchin, pussy. jk I wish the kids in my school weren't too much of pussies to just START a food fight. there's never been one during my lunch ever.
Food fights are gross. I don't want food in my hair, tyvm. That being said, I grew up in San Antonio. I can testify to the stupidity of the people in that city. When I was in middle/high school, they had a rule that shorts were against the dress code. NO shorts in SOUTH TEXAS. Miserable bastards. The funny part was, they allowed skirts, but not skorts. Nobody really wears skorts anymore, but still....how irrational can you get? Then in 8th grade a friend of my sister's got suspended for wearing a dress to school, because he was a boy. He was trying to make a statement about how unfair it was that girls could wear skirts in the heat but guys couldn't. Texas is a bass ackwards place.
I'm not turning into a pussy. I saw some lady got kicked out of a Rangers game for wearing a "Yankees Suck" t-shirt...or she had to turn the t-shirt inside out or something. Even at a baseball game...
Yea, you're right... it's not just in schools. I know I have heard more recently examples of situations similar to these, but can't recall them; I think I've blocked them out of my memory out of shear anger.
