I'd like to see if a close friend of mine would ever consider tripping. I'm wondering what's the best way to describe acid to a non drug user. so far he doesn't know I've done it in the past but might suspect it.
lol ask him have you ever recieved a electric shock from a door knob?...Multiply that by a million...Thats how i would describe my experience
WTF. That would hurt alot bro! Lol. Just tell him it will open his mind. Edit: That jesus in your sig is like crosseyed hawaii LOL
As humans, we experience this world in a certain way. We are given endless amounts of input through vision, sound, taste, smell and touch, and one of our mind's many jobs is to process and filter that information. For many reasons, such as social conditioning, truly beautiful concepts are filtered out and many people live in a bland and boring world. LSD will remove the filters and allow you to see the beauty and love that is inherent in everything. It will tear down the walls of your mind and allow you to process a thousand thoughts in a second, time will cease to exist, you will see that the reality in which we exist is only as real as we make it. You will feel alive.
one more cool scene. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2U7z_-6Dckw&feature=related My favorite! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uwdr_st81qc&feature=related
Use any of the cliches They are tried and true You will be born You will die You will see not look You will know God You will "I AM"
Argh this used to be my thing, when I was a tripper I could put it into wonderful words.. But maybe this will work, tripping is letting go of your thoughts enough that you fall into ways of thinking that aren't you, you travel down the path and it gets really deep...sometimes people come with you, other times your alone...but you must always know its just a thought
Hawaiiankine, love your sig pic! Ted is a dear friend of mine My first trip guru explained it quite easily to me like this: in your brain, you have "brain police" - they tell you that the sky is blue, a rock is a rock and a tree is a tree, etc......LSD puts the brain police to sleep, giving you the freedom to think the sky is green, a rock is a grumpy old man and a tree is your best friend for life (as an example of what you can think - obviously you're free to think what you like while the brain police are asleep...the possibilities are limitless)
you got a pic with him on your profile thingy u r soo lucky! I saw one of his last performances here in Hawaii several years ago. I've always loved the musical since the 70s. Awesome pic of you and Ted!:cheers2: Aloha!
Imagine a plane apart from this world. It does exist. It is the plane that our brains travel to when we experience psychedelic substances. It is the plane that our souls travel to in the spiritual nirvana during the climax of an intimate moment. LSD will allow you to love every aspect of life without a question of whether or not it deserves to be loved. It will take you away from the shitty economy, allow you to realize that superficial ideas such as credit, corruption, lying, and hate belong only in the "turned off plane." It will allow you to realize that poor grammar and runon sentences are acceptable in an explanation of LSD. Tell your friend that if there is one thing he/she should trust you about in this lifetime, it is that LSD is not a scary substance that "The Man" is protecting us from, it is a chemical of unexplainable proportions and anyone who misses out on the trip has never truly experienced life as it is meant to be experienced.
I've never tripped before... I really want to but I can't find anyone who can get LSD. How would you guys compare a trip to a really strong weed high? Because some of the stuff you're discribing I almost feel with weed, like thinking in different ways. Also, my boss has tripped once or twice and he said it was real boring. He said he just felt fucked up, couldn't sleep, and just saw trails on lights. Then again he does drugs to party, not for introspection. Do some people just not experience anything?
