Alright, so my computer has been acting up lately.

First off, it became REALLY EXTREMELY slow. Its speeded up quite a bit now but the speed goes up and down frequently.

Second, my mouse seems to be doing whatever it wants. It will click and open stuff up and scroll around on its own, etc... Adware or spyware perhaps? Or a problem with the mouse?

Third, occasionally when I have firefox open I can scroll up and down but can't type anything in or click on tabs like file, edit, view, etc...

Anyway, I'm totally computer illiterate so if any of you know what could be wrong and a solution to the problem, PLEASE let me know! Its been driving me CRAZY!

    Thanks!

    hi
you could try to do a online scan at www.bittdefender.com and do a sytem cleanup with ccleaner http://www.ccleaner.com/download also close msn and other apps when running the online scan

if that does not help try to reset your system i don't know if you have a sytem recovery cd/dvd but if you do you will not have to reformat your harddrive

the other sollution would be to reformat your hdd and install good antivirus protection bittdefender is one option but it costs $$$ a free sollution is avast antivirus www.avast.com http://avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html

    hope it helps

This is pretty much the basics. There are other things you can try but they are more complicated.
