A couple weeks ago I smoked for the first time in over two months and it wasn't very enjoyable. It was definitely the most high I've ever been (off of weed) but I was TOO high. I never thought that was possible. Anyway, I was taking a really hot shower after I smoked and all of a sudden I got extremely light headed and thought I was going to pass out. I thought I wasn't getting enough oxygen or something so I had to step out of the shower still covered in soap and just sit down on the toilet and take deep breaths for a good ten minutes.

I've had that feeling twice. It happens whenever your scared, then get's worse. And when you think you can't do something, you can't, like breathing. Which suuucks, but that's the high I aim for now.

It really just depends on who and how you are at the time when your high.
Some people are super paranoid, and some are just chill and couldn't care less.
If any harm, it is smoke. Smoke IS bad for your lungs, no matter what type of smoke it is. Oxygen is the only thing our body loves to take in our lungs!

However, it will never be as harsh as cigs. Thats just an entirely different story.

Setting makes a world of a difference.

Usually though, I enjoy my paranoia in a sick sort of way. It's just mind games.
I haven't had bad paranoia in a while though.
I just get freaked out when i see cops and am rolling or some shit, that's the scariest for me.

To address everyone who quotes my response.

Panic attacks are in the head, I'm not saying that you can prevent them, but I am saying that they say something about the people who get them and probably illustrate some sort of psychological problem or insecurity.

I've had panic attacks when I'm stoned because I focus on my heartrate too much, which makes my heart beat even faster; so fast that I actually end up passing out and convulsing. lol

i think panic attack is a misnomer. panic is the body's response to a stressful situation, you move faster and process information faster to get away from the stress as fast as possible. panic can even fight knowledge for dominance (when i found my son not breathing, i started cpr before calling 911. not that it would have made any difference, but it illustrates a point) a 'panic attack' is like a stimuli blown way out of proportion, without the appropriate 'panic' signals firing. its like a failure to panic properly, with all the bad feelings associated with panic and none of the mental process. they are exceptionally unpleasant.

since many things can instigate a panic or anxiety attack it can't really be blamed on marijuana all the time, it might be from a yucky cheeseburger you ate as a result of smoking. but not everybody gets these kinds of attacks.
if your air is not circulating you may get less oxygen and get dizzy hot/ cold flashes, and even nausea. i get 'pale face' before i get too bad, i can actually feel the blood drain away. as a general rule i lay down on the bathroom or kitchen floor, anywhere cold and near water and a vomit receptacle. just in case. sometimes it just all goes to your head, and the safest place is whats closest to the floor. drink more water in general, and keep a fan handy in case your smoking area becomes cloying.

While your post is all very true, drugs are not natural to the body. THC can induce panic attacks by binding to cannabinoid receptors that will subsequently release other chemicals. It's artificially induced by foreign chemicals, not simply freaking out because one is high or having a bad day.
