Did you ever stop and think about this? When you hear someone at a distance that you can't see laughing their guts out, you can't help but be happy and laugh too. :)

it's kind of like that on t.v. when you hear the audience or a laugh track.some shows are so crappy though that the laugh track doesn't even want to laugh.but yeah power of suggestion like orison says and just good to hear someone laugh and remembering there is funny stuff in the world.how about yawns? maybe a yawn track machine for crappy t.v shows or for my posts.

Speak for yourself; sometimes I'm annoyed and made insecure by laughter.

if you examine a person laughing, it looks funnier than what he said.

    Not particularly.

It used to work when I first started smoking pot.

All in all, I'm not easily amused.

I think laughter is very contagious :D

    I love it :smilielol5:

I got an award for the "Most Contagious Laugh" in high school last year... Since I'm not good at anything else

its called empathy, its nothing new. sadness, anger, joy, all of these emotions are contagious. they are all vocalized like laughter is to joy; a roar is to anger; a sobbing sound is to sadness.

someone in my company - yes, it makes me happy too. but someone in the background laughing, or across the room, no not really, in fact i can get annoyed by it and like to yell "You have nothing to laugh about!"

    haha.. That's pretty awesome.

I was told I'm anti aspergic a little while after we had an assembly on aspergers because I ''laugh at things that aren't funny''... but.. but it was funny!

I'm a big fan of laughter. I laugh a lot. It's my way of getting out of exercise. :D

Wow, really? I used to have this, I still do on rare occasion.

Mostly, though, I take delight in other people laughing and being happy.

I often times do take delight. But it would be wishful for me to generalize.

Besides, laughter does not equate to happiness; much like crying does not always imply sadness.
