I'm basing this thread off a conversation a few of us had in public chat last night. If a multiverse were to exist what are your theories on what it would be like and consist of?

energy would take on a new precedence, given the shape of the universe, an oval, the density of the other side would be greater. in my opinion, base units would be smaller than an atom, thus creating a higher conductivity. electricity happening at such a high frequency that matter would be created in its natural properties. there's possibilities for learning neuron propulsion or more...

shroedingers cat. "Anything unobservable through any stimulus by man is considered undefined." precisely. However, that law would apply to this universe only, thus making it impossible to know whats on the other side. One loop hole to that theory would be the displacement that had have occured to give our universe the shape it was billions of years ago, and is today. Given that, it is easy to speculate the mass around the universe, which may possibly be of a denser material, and lower energy bonds. sounds contrary to what i said above, but these are only theories, my friends

If there were another universe within the multiverse that had the same physical laws as this one it would be indistinguishable from ours. Therefore, it would be the same one and not different at all. In order to be different, another universe must have some different physical laws.

However, it is known that the fundamental laws cannot differ by much without wrecking their ability to support life or even to continue to exist for any reasonable length of time. Changing the gravitational constant, G, by just a fraction will render the universe's longevity to nil, for instance. Altering the speed of light will also make a universe unstable and incapable of prolonged existence.

Therefore, since all probable universes in the multiverse must have fairly similar physical laws, they must exist in dimensions that are quite the same. This means that they may be positioned in this space not very far from our own. The possibility exists, then, that we may be able to experience them by some means.

These could be technological or not. Obvious technological means would be, say, by creating an unique oscillating magnetic field around a remote controlled camera system. A non-technological means might be by telepathy or even through dreams or imagination. Perhaps Heaven and Hell are just parallel universes.

In other words, "There are more things than are dreamt of in your philosophy." There may even be stuff that supports religious views. Just this realization alone should give pause to those who so assuredly dismiss the pastor's, rabbi's or imam's sermons as mere rants.

Multi's are wonderful! Oh wait, you're talking about a different kind of "multi". Never mind.

ok, the way you are talking, yes is normal in a systematic universe, or a systematic multiverse, HOWEVER, in order for the laws of physics to apply to outside of this universe, it would have to have a universal structure like this universe, and knowing this, and referencing shroeder's cat, what is not observed by humans is undefined, we can conclude that universes outside of this universe are undefined, as well as the said energies therein. now let me give you a for instance, on a normal organism, there is no blood outside of the body is there? also, the fluidity of the said organism is contained therein and none of which is outside, less saline, or urine, as dictated by the function of the organism. now, knowing this, the organism does not have any bodily functions outside of itself, everything is in the inside, do you see any kidneys hanging down from anything? the answer is, no, there is not. Now, given this, there have been measured gravitational fluxes from outside of the universe, that were measure inside this universe can be likened unto and animal taking a shit. i rest my case.

and technically, your "theories" are philosophy as well so, sit and spin my friend, next time you wish to insult, come prepared.
