I got one of those little pocket scales the other day from a headshop here in town. The brand is proscale. Well, 2 days later and its already fucked up. It was only 12 bucks so I guess I get what I paid for, but does anyone know if its fixable? When I turn it on the screen goes to this:
That happened to my friends scale. You just gotta learn how to read it now lol, it still works it'll just looke all fucked up. That says 00.82
i think you're mistaken CC.. because at the bottom of the display it says " 333x0.1grams".. meaning it only reads 0.1
then why are there 4 numbers? thats a fucked scale then. I'd never even bother with a .1 scale anyway. EDIT: nevermind this post, im retarded lol. :dupe:
That's a shitty series of scales. I had the 666 scale in that series, and one day after standing on a shelf for like a week, it just stopped working. If you want a scale, invest in a good one.
I don't have the manual anymore. I went on the proscale website and sent them an email. Hopefully I'll get a response. If not, oh well, only twelve bucks. Frustrating though. I haven't tried changing the batteries yet. I don't see why that'd be the problem. The scale turns on fine and the batteries were brand new with the scale. They're also 3v batteries which are like 8 bucks for a pack of two (it takes two).
Low batterys can cause dig. scales to act weird. I got my scale for like $40 and it works great and it don't take any weird ass battery. The only thing that sucks is if you put on the weight really slowly it tends to measure low or not at all. This is only a problem if i am measuring out weed that is ground really fine.
my scale says 0ule2, the exact same thing when i turn it on and have something sitting on it before it has time to zero out. when you turn it on make sure theres no weight sitting on it.
I'd guess it's either just totally fucked up, or switched to a different mode (IE: oz, pennyweight, etc) which would register 2 past the decimal, instead of only one past with the gram setting. Why do you need to know down to the .01 anyway? Making sure those nickle bags are straight? lol To the OP: Does it respond to any input from the buttons? Have you tried taking the batteries out and then putting them back in? Have you tried to re-calibrate it?
No, yes, and no, only because it doesn't respond to any input from the buttons. I think its just fucked.
Well I just liked having a really good scale. But I picked up some K a little while ago and I wanted it to be spot on. Fuck, I wish I knew more people who did that stuff because I don't even like doing it so I could sell all of it without worrying about how much I do lol.
