hey guys, it's been a while since my last post

i didn't know where this would go, but i thought cult would suit

i bought the wall the other weekend, i found it confusing the first time i watched it, the second time things started to make sense, but then last night i was ripped out of my mind to the point i could hardly speak and i watched it and everything made sense

once you get what it's about this is a great film in my opinion, it has alot of symbolism in it, and honestly how many bands can you think of that can make a CD that every song is a point in the main characters life and a whole story could be told just in the lyrics of the album

I watched it on E....but I already new the movie back to front, so it was almost like a sing along. Great movie. You should watch the commentary. It explains so much...its with Roger Waters and the guy that did the illustrations, and he gets into the symbolism.

There's a university in my state that offers a course on The Wall as an upper level English class....how cool, eh?

The movie actually made me cry because I felt bad for Pink. That and the "Comfortably Numb" scene really got to my soul. Reminded me so much of my own childhood.

i watched it for the first time this morning, i was ripped.

i think i was actually able to string together all the symbolism fairly well because i was high, i don't think i would've been able to connect with the story line so much if i was sober.

As much as I like Pink Floyd I really found the movie boring and uninteresting.. this was before I was in the drug scene.

Years later I watched it again... well tried to watch it while robo tripping. I had NO IDEA what I was in for. This was literally one of the most intense experiences iv had. I was grasping what the movie truly was and had to turn it off just for the pure intensity of it. I felt like I wasn't watching the movie but actually there in person.

In the Flesh grabbed me by the balls and freaked me the fuck out.

"So ya thought ya might like to go to the show.
To feel the warm thrill of confusion, that space cadet glow."

Id like to try watching it again prepared this time. Just got to find some cid. :D

i don't understand how people can not get this movie. maybe their attention drifted for a few moments, cause it's one of those i think you really have to concentrate on and follow what's happening to know what's going on. i love the wall, but i usually get kind of depressed when i watch it, there is a lot of sadness.

Everytime I have seen this movie I was sober. I still understood it for the most part. However, I'm dying to watch it on acid or while stoned out of my mind.

I watched it a while ago, I'm a huge Floyd fan...the movie made perfect sense...I just didn't think it was in any way outstanding. -shrug-

I know many people who couldn't finish the movie while high. Once you become a vet at it, it's a great experience. Sober many people will watch this movie and say "the fuck is this?"
