So I got paint in my hair while working the past couple days. It is bright white satin interior latex paint from rubbing against the wall, getting the shit out of the way, ect... Not really a big deal. I don't care really I know it will come out, it's just on the surface (i think). Any experience as to how long is stays there? I have rinsed it with water once and really didn't do much. I don't use shampoo or soap so I guess I will just wait it out and see how long it's stays there. My hair is very dark brown too so it sticks out like a thumb.
It's not that munch. I really couldn't give two shits.. just thought I would see if anyone else had similar experience.
lol yeah I didnt want to be a downer, but I knew someone who never got the paint out and she ended up cutting because of it. She had lots of paint in there though
I thought you were being a smart ass. Lol So my following remark was sarcasm. I thought maybe a week...but you all are saying a long time. I mean I got the shit all over my arms and it comes right off. I have been picking pieces of my hair...some hair break, and it slides off of others. Key thing here is it's latex. it's thick plastic like shit. I figured it just wouldn't stick to hair long and break down...'tis only speculation though.
I was wearing a hat the first day and still got paint in it.. So i didn't fuck with it today and got more in there... make money > not having paint in my hair
I'm a painter man, and you'll have to pick what you can out after a long hot shower or bath. Latex paint is basically plastic when it dries. It is gonna need some help coming out , but it will come out. If it is really bugging you, or its alot of little stuff, you can use an X-acto blade to scrape it out. That is a worst case scenario, though. Good luck, and next time wear a shower cap.
Hmm, maybe try and poking it a million times with like a sewing needle or a really thin pin, so it will break it all up. That would probably turn it into a bunch of little tiny chips of paint, which you could try getting a thick brush of some sort and going to town on them. Sandpaper?
it shouldnt last that long, cant imagine that it would, paint never stuck to anything ive got it on that long except for clothes
