Today I was supposed to be transferred from Medical to Administration. I came in at 9 AM as arranged and was told the boss was in a meeting, and I'd have to wait half an hour. More than an hour went by and I heard nothing from him, the reception tried to contact him a few times aswell, so I just left. I wonder, should I have done that? Or should I just have waited till he was finished with the meeting?
You've shown two things by leaving. 1. You are not a pussy. 2. You don't need this job. I would consider these both good things. If I were him, I would call you and invite you for another interview, and I would apologize for being late.
well, you're not going to get the job, but it would probably be better to work for someone who has his shit together anyway.
