    Unrelated,

    Unchanging,
    Impotency unnerves me.

    The sun is cold today,
Like the beaten monster, afraid to run the plain.

    Please,
    Don't forget me,
    Forsake me,
The day, too brutal to face alone.

I'm trying to write a song... making it reflective, soft, one of those deep kinda ones, with simple lyrics that carry great emotion.

I'm thinking it'll start off, instrument-wise with, ah.. It sounds like a little bit of synth.. no, pedals.. I'll have to experiment. Guitar pedals definitely. I'm in a developing band.. we're trying to formulate some songs (we have a good amount done) and get somewhere with this expression. I thought it'd be fun to share it with you guys. Get some ideas flowing for everyone. The instrumental descriptions are very vague and can go any way you want them to... I suppose that's good, but it can't compensate for actually hearing the concepts.

    Another concept:

(intro: bass drum beat, leading into a simple but good beat. something that sounds like a march)

    (whisper)
    Hear this, you,
Hear this, you, (repeat x2... goes with the marching beat)

Gun in one hand, Bible in another,
The third to hold me up and push me over. (singing.. crescendo)
    I've got decisions to make,
    but no burden to shoulder.

That's all I got right now.. A bit tied up... Please feel free to share ideas, etc.
    Thanks!
