Quick update, just about 3 weeks in. So far the redone back has stayed in a lot better.

uhvo - i gave up on natural and went twist and rip, but the back fell out completely so i re-twisted and ripped it.

 

you wanna hang out later maybe?

The "shittyness" as you called it, sorts itself out with time, like mine did

so far your dreads look very good, i like them
but if you keep worrying, they will soon be brushed out
and will cease to exist.
i suggest you stop looking in mirrors and taking pictures
and continue living life normally for a while.

it's tough not to think about them right now just because i don't really have much else going on in my life. once school starts back up time will go a lot faster though.

 

yeah, i know what you mean. i keep trying to go natural but then i convince myself I need to let my hair grow out some more.

too much free time to think about pointless things in the summer, man

 

why not just stop brushing while ur hair is growing out?
and by the time its long enough u will start seeing progress?
