My girl wants to get a belly piercing but they tell her that there is not enough skin to do it over the belly button. Is that for real? or did the guy not know what he was doinG?
You definitely need some resilient, full tissue there, or you're likely to get a rejection. I recommend a reverse navel; I've been happy with mine for five years now.
not really the size of the person. - its the shape of the navel. innie outtie- belly buttons are so different...but yes ,a lot of women can't have the traditional top naval ring because of the shape . The reverse looks really pretty, I don't think I have enough of a fold of skin on bottom for a reverse-sigh-it's true, you always want what you can't have
^ just sayin' that when I worked at the parlor that alot of super thin chicks had either not enough skin or the skin that they had was at so much tension that the piercing couldn't be done without a significant chance of rejection. So yeah, it can come down to the shape of the person.
i was super thin when I got mine pierced - but the shape of my bbutton is odd so that I have a rather large top flap of skin on top- and pretty much no extra on bottom (kwim? ). My baby sis on the other hand, isn't tooo thin but- has an almost partial outtie bbutton- but a flap of skin more on the bottom- not sure she could even get it pierced at all but if she did it would have to be reverse. belly buttons are freaking weird and unique i would think it would have a lot more to do with that than the weight of the person. Though the obvious is that a woman who has gained weight who had a reg innie bbutton to begin with ,will have a larger deeper belly button usually. I hope they are able to do a reverse OP- i am sort of surprised the piercer didn't recommend it as an option to her in the 1st place
