does anyone here have experience selling stuff at a flea market? I'm very interested in it, especially since ebay is becoming more and more useless, but not sure how it works. do you just show up and set up a table? do you need to get approved or something first?

flea markets kick ass;) some of the best stuff i have was bought at a flea market

I'm pretty sure you need some kind of permit.

Try to find the market's coordinator or whatever they call it. The head honcho. I'm sure you probably have to rent a space. Just go to whatever flea market you're interested in, find a nice vendor, and ask them how they got started and who you need to talk to. I find most people are helpful when asked.

I know that you rent a space for like $500 at art shows. It probably costs less in a flee market, you'd probably have to book way in advance though.

Try Googling flea markets,or Drive Inns in or around your city.We have a couple Drive Inns still open out here and they have flea markets on the weekends.
