Hi all, im 38 weeks pregnant at 20 week scan sandal gap was found in one foot, we were sent for further testing and given the all clear nothing else was wrong. just last week the doc rang and said at last growth scan 2 weeks ago babys head measuring 2 to 3 weeks behind and that could be another soft marker for down syndrome. cant stop worrying now with only 2 weeks to go!! anyone out there with a similiar story?

    Evie,

Just remember this: Ultrasounds, especially in those later weeks where there is so much more baby, are extremely untrustworthy. They could tell you you're having a twelve pound baby from the scan, and then you'll really have a 7.5 lb baby. So if at 38 weeks, they say there is a small head measurement, I'd file that in the back of my mind, and go on my merry way.

You, and your baby, are just fine! Keep repeating that! :)
