Cool I have a busy weekend, kids & fires and woods, but will prob hit you up on it in a few days when I'm home
I don't believe we have met before, hmm- maybe in a past life connection
It's a chick with wings drawn by a Japanese artist, it's not even close to finished but I'll try to get another pic up soon of it. I was hoping to have had time today but have been busy with kids and not been home much today.

Awe thanks ;) for the love

WELL if we did meet id assume it was in the woods aeround a fire and yea probly kids and drums and all sorts of natural dreadies around ..
so sincfe we both hang out in the woods round fires alopt i figure anythings possible

the thing is though with names and all i onlyu got so much room in my head so unlesws its an unusual nam,e often the nanmes never really get connected with the faces.. true willows not exactly mainstrewam, but i probly know 30-40 sunshines and at least a couple dozen willoews so its ..almost like debbie or sure would be in mainstreamk society
but..igf we were introduced as mountainwillow then theres a 75% chance it woukld connect the name to the person

it sucks but there are actualy people ive known 15-20 years with names like bob and dave and i still never remember theyre names
\..but people ya meet with unique names that either really fit them..or are just offtyhe wall bizzarre u never forget

I put beads in places to help loc em up more- I play with them from time to time, sliding them and changing the places I put them to help manipulate loc'ing..

    TY- MandyLand
SE- yea, I can admit- I want my cookie already LOL.. plus it's not really knotting, just seperating, I palm roll a bit- but not much, although those 2 or 3 on top are my favorite because I am determined not to have them lock into a mess on the top. But yea for employment purposes, and all- Id like to have something more uniform or resembling dreads, than an uncombed mess with a few beads. I actually had someone tell me I was doing it wrong-correction, they said I didn't know what I was doing that I had to back comb.. I just LOL! and walked away.

I think your hair is looking great and I think you are going to get some shit for saying you want maintained uniform locks, people here tend to favor messy, loopiness. If you twist and rip then be sure to post photos, your hair is gorgeous.

Hey if money wasnt so bad for us right now, my husband isnt getting much work, and we are literally hanging on by thread of survival- most of our bills are getting paid very late, and usually we are more ok in the wallet- bill paying. I have stayed home now with the kids for the past 3+ years so its time I helped out a bit.
Unfortunately, I would like folks to see past what they think I should look like and let me do my thing, but- when I tried to get a simple job today I was told my odds with my hair being a mess was slim- not by the boss- but a friend who works at the place and was going to try to get me in.

your hair is fine, it's curly anyway and you are pretty so it will just look like messy curls, which is attractive. don't listen to people who don't know, no matter how much you love them, and don't do anything to them, they will knot up naturally and gloriously.

So I did it.. I left natural for T&R, & I Love my new dread babies! I also died my hair back as close to my natural color as possible before hand, as I hated the half blond look, my roots were like 4 inches dark if not more. So anywho- took aprox 2 hrs. I didnt really worry much about sectioning. I actually just went with the sections already created by my hair and sort of went along with how my hair wanted to be sectioned. They are all aprox the same thick but I did find sections of different thickness and so I have some thicker than others- but I like that.
    Well.. Here we are..
So here's to week 2 & My new dread babies - all 43 of them! :cheers2:

Edited to add: No wax or any icky products- my babies will be proud to lock free

Nah dont think they were that young but definately stupid- but a total stranger so I dont know them.. Just walked by me drinking a coffee leaving the local cafe and sort of just said- "I think your supposed to tease those if your trying to dread your hair."  I guess they meant well, but I know better.

I T&R and let my hair guide the sectioning. & I like the results waaay more than BC
