If you have a legitimate reason to get some sort of pain medication from a Dr. Tell him you are allergic to Tylenol, so he will not give you lortab or anything with Tylenol in it. I thought of this idea and used it recently. I just got my first oxy script. how exciting. Maybe everyone already knows this trick, but i think its pretty clever. Let us know if it works for you.
it does help when you can't take the bullshit drugs with tylenol in it. but it takes time, i don't know how long i had to work to get my good scripts finally. then i turned into a walking pharmacy. but gradually I'd tell my doctor my tolerance was going up and it was helping with my pain and to be sure to not go back there until the end of the month for a refill.
Yeah well in most cases this WONT work because they'll be looking for a medical note on your file saying "Allergic to APAP/Tramadol/whatever". Let's face it... you're almost NEVER going to get any good drugs unless you keep the act up over months of going and telling tne Dr that your tolerance is up/the drugs aren't working as well/etc. I'm sure if it was as easy as telling the doctor that you're allergic to other meds then oxycontin wouldnt be so fucking hard to find and cost $40 a damn pill once you DO find it.
