i think thats kind of a stupid idea. Nice warm places are crowded enough. If people did that it'd be like Soylent Green.

I guess it's okay. I only knew because I just happened to get stuck overnight in a bus terminal with an Aussie.

Yes, everybody should move where the ground is infertile, the greenery sparse and devoid of beauty. I have a spare room at my house.

I'm going to Sweden next year, can't wait, it's not the snow I'm excited for though.

Oh, and I can't prove this, but I get the distinct feeling that the OP doesn't like black people.

A little snow is okay. I spent two years living along the border between Virginia and West Virginia. The first winter, I didn't see the ground for six weeks. That was too much snow. And the tires of my car got frozen to the ground for five days. It was so cold that salt did not help. The snows and cold spells we have in central NC are nothing compared to that.

Ice storms are in some ways worse than snow because they bring down the trees and power lines so easily. We have ice storms every winter.

The problem with running from ice and snow is that, unless you move to southern California or Arizona or New Mexico, you will end up in the hurricane zone. That is worse.

Yeah, there's something wrong with every place. My biggest concern is tornadoes, because there is so little you can do. At least we can see the hurricanes coming, a day or two in advance.

I don't know much about NM. Never been there.
