oh jeez. So in the middle of march, I was on a trip, and I was on some cross country skis for the first itme.. I tried to do what I do on normal skis.. but.. it didn't work. so I fell. I kinda fell on my tailbone area. Whatever, I laughed, I got up, it didn't really hurt. I kept on going.. and it starts to get painful. We went to go have lunch about an hour later, and when I'd go to sit down, I wouldn't put any weight directly on my butt. As I try to sit down, I'd have msucle spasms, and I'd loose my breath. They were very painful. It did the same when I got up. 20 minutes later, I go to sit down and take off my boots, and then it hurt so bad that if I moved down a centimeter to reach my boots, I would get even worse muscle spasms. They were severe. They were so bad that I wanted to cry. Well, not even wanted to, I probably would have. Later that night my teacher told me to do some stretches for the spasms. They didn't really work. I had to lay on my side, and we were just sitting at dinner and then my tailbone muscles would just spazz out some more. The next say I went skiing, because this was one of the best skiing mountains in North America, and I didn't wanna miss it. besides, it doesn't really hurt to stand, only to bend or sit. I couldn't go over any bumps or moguls because of my tailbone, and my the end of the day, I had to go down moguls for about 20 minutes, swearing the whole way down. It just was really painful. The next day I took Ibproufen, which helped, the skiing was alot more enjoyable. After that day it kind of started to get better. But now it is june, and that pain only plateaued. It is not getting better from here. If I sit still for a long period of time, it hurts to get up. I don't think it is a bruise, because I'm pretty sure that would have gone away. I don't know if it is a muscle strain. My tailbone doesn't seem to be that much out of place, or moved. Besies, if it were moved to the side when I fell, wouldn't that have hurt alot? What exactly is wrong with it? I had a physical last week and I totally forgot to bring it up with my doctor... I just tried going on web md and I only got muscle pain and bone fracture as my only 2 plausible causes... the rest had to do with reproductive or infection problems.
