Okay I'm planing a trip across Europe. I live in America. I am 15. Will I not be able to because I'm too young? I don't want to go with parents because they are buzz kills. My German teacher thinks it'll cost about 2000 dollars. My plan is to Start in Budapest. (I have family there) Then my plan is to spend from one to three days (in this order) in Bratislava, Vienna, Venice, Bern, Paris, Madrid, Lisbon, Dublin, London, Brussels, Amsterdam, Berlin (On week there) Krakow, then back to Budapest. Suggestions? Think I'm too young? Voice your Opinion.
I wouldn't go on such a trip as young as you are. Language barriers and the danger of being ripped off and other bad things. Wait a few years and go with a few friends.
Woooh take it from me, I have done two trips for extended amounts of time, slooooow down!!! You have way to much in such a short time! Plus, you will practically be spending more time traveling than sight seeing. Have you actually taken into account the distances you will be covering?? Km and Miles? Again, you will travel lots. You are basically city hopping. Less countries, more within certian countries such as country side and other cities and small villages. I mean, I would choose 1 or 2 countries or spend more time in Europe. Also, maybe at 18 or 19 you will be wise enough to do this. 15 does sound to young.
I'm 16 (almost 17) and I plan on backpacking in 2010 when I graduate... I've been to Germany and the language barrier is kind of a pain, even though many people there understood some English. I can understand the part about parents. My mom wants to go with me, and as much as I love her, I'd never want to go with her while I'm underage. When you're 18, there's so much more to do there
