Adult Swim

So some of the people posting in the Superjail thread are being post nazis () about talking strictly about Superjail, and as I've only seen that show a few times, I have really nothing to offer to that thread. HOWEVER, I made this thread so that we can discuss how Adult Swim has gone down the shitter with most of its live action shows (WTF? it's CARTOON network, not a bunch of dumbasses do random stuff that makes no sense and is often downright disturbing), but it still has its redeeming qualities. The following are the shows I find balance out the fact that Tim and Eric were even born in the first place.

I used to fucking LOVE Adult Swim, I started watching when I was 14 and became automatically addicted. Many a night was spent on the phone with one of my best friends and we'd watch TV together. Haha.

Please, someone else start listing some good shows, because I smoke way too much and can't remember shit.

 

my fav shows were Banacek,the Honeymooners,Remington Steele,Columbo,MacMillan and wife,Hill Street Blues,the A-Team,the Fall Guy,the Equalizer,Cagney and Lacey....and the Smurfs.

 

lol...Were any of those on Adult Swim? You're bad at this, BBAD.

 

I wasn't sure if we were only allowed to list adult swim shows...it wasn't clearly stated by the OP

 

sealab is the best, of course. aqua teen hunger force was great, for a while. i like the venture brothers a lot. brak show is pretty good. samurai champloo was great

there are some half decent shows on now, but adult swim has gone way downhill

What's wrong with liking Family Guy?

 

Apparently the stupid humor's not good enough for some of the posters with oh-so-refined taste in every thing from toilet paper to tv shows. However, at least the jokes don't make me go . What's the point in humor if you can't understand it? lol

 

Futurama used to be my favorite show. I have all of the seasons on dvd, minus a couple discs that have become lost during moves. Op ur right, most of adult swim has gone to complete hell though. I'm not a big fan of anime so I usually end up turning the channel when any of those shows come on, I don't even know their titles. Family Guy/Aqua Teen are my current favorites. "I hope you can see this.... I'm doing it as hard as I can" hahaha

 

It makes me all kinds of happy that Futurama is coming back.

yepp, Futurama is fun to watch. I've heard the show is back from the dead and new episodes will be on TV next year (?).

still one of my favorite shows. i never really thought of it as an adult swim show, though, but i guess they did show it.


"benders game" is amazing. its one of the new futurama things, and bender gets hooked on dungeons and dragons and goes crazy





i'm not a big fan of family guy. nothing wrong with liking it, but i REALLY have to be in the mood to watch it. at least in terms of after it came back on the air - i still like the old ones a lot

I completely agree with the OP , you should watch superjail kr.
and add to that list venture bros, boondocks OH and frisky dingo-I hated FD at 1st but that show is awesome.
I also really liked Lucy daughter of the devil- but they didn't have NEAR enough episodes. OHH and shin -chan, but does that count?

Sometime I like family guy , and sometimes i just find it really stupid. It has its moments for sure.

I still think tim& eric and all the similar not cartoon pointless sketch show randomness ruined adultswim.
