Last November Chi Cheng, bassist for the Deftones was in a bad car accident. He has been in a coma since. I don't think his state is so well at this point. Chi is an amazing musician, a cool guy, and was 'hip' in every sense of the word. Please pray for Chi as me and many millions hope he makes a full recovery, or at least wakes from his coma in the near future. Peace and Love Chi! I remember the day that happened...so sad. The deftones are one of my fav bands. The bills of the family are really stackin up high.
Yea, but PETA and that oneloveforchi site are helping them with their bills. You can see on that site how much money has been raised. He designed t-shirts for PETA so 20% of the money from those goes back to his family.
Yeah but the bills have got to be SUPER high and it aint gettin better. Rockstars dont have benefits or insurance(i think) and deftones arent the most popular band so i know they dont have money up to their ears.
