Has anyone paid $9.99 for an RC list?

I came across, in the depths of google, a group someone had made, just as a placeholder to post information on a list of RCs and he claimed to know 80+ vendors. He asked for about 10$ via PayPal after an e-mail was sent to his account at _______@h_______.com.

The date was a few months back so this seems recent. Has anyone done this and was it legitimate?

 

Three or so years ago a dude was selling source lists and I think he was legit, unfortunately. sources should not go to the highest bidder, but be traded between interested folk who find them themselves. Chances are any list you find will be half scammers, 25% pharmacies, 10% legit noob/public sources and 15% retired vendors.

I wouldn't trust it personally. I work hard to find my sources. I'm usually up for trading sources, after talking with the other member for a while, ya know? i have pretty good character judgement, even over the internet.

 

Yea, thanks for the advice. I've found some interesting things so far, but it's good to check up on things because scams are horrible, especially during this economy. It's probably better to keep looking for something more verifiable.
