I looked in the mirror tonight, my ear has been hurting (haven't stretched in awhile), then finally I noticed I have a blowout starting on my right ear, yes trust me it IS A BLOWOUT. I'm so fucking sad..

what do I do? I don't know how to fix it?

Can I take my earring completly out and just leave nothing in it?

I've gone soooo slow with mine, so I never had any problems. I'm not really sure, but I would say go back to the size before your blowout and make sure you dissenfect the area and keep it clean. But I really don't know for sure. Sorry I'm not more help.

Well, I would imagine that you would need to let it heal before you want to try anything more. At least scare tissue is tougher than you skin would be normally.

no that is an example of a twit who needs to be taken out back and put down lol

To fix a blowout downsize at least one gauge size using the right jewelery not organic or acrylic clean the blowout once or twice a day using sea salt soaks, and dont mess with the jewelry. it will take a good amount of time for it to heal so be patient with it and dont tie it off cuz thats just gonna create a bunch more scar tissue

ouch iv'e had a small blowout on my ear too, they suck! Yep downsize a size or two. Salt soak's work great twice a day. 1/2 pint of boiling water to 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt, cooled, then soak a cotton pad in it and put to your ear for a few miniutes. This helps to draw out impurites and to help the ear "reabsorb" itself back in. Glass plugs works good if you can get one, it allows the ear to breath and doesn't have things in it to react to. Surical steals also good because you can completely sterilise it in boiling water. I would try and find something smaller to put in if you can, my ear just went tough when i took mine out and shrunk alot i lost like 3 sizes in no time. When it's healed vit E rubs loosens the scar tissue from the blowout and makes it easier to stretch in the future ;)

I, personally, haven't had a blowout yet and i'm at a 0g. It has taken me two years to get to this so i DONT get a blowout.. I say go out and get a pair a size lower than the one you have in now, let it heal, and then just wait a while to stretch again. if it happens again, i say just leave it at whatever size doesn't cause a blowout.

What size are your ears anyway?

They were at 00g, since I took my earrings out they're probally at around 2g. I don't really care, i'm just going to leave em out and go back to my 2 main holes at 8g rings and leave a 14g ring in my 2nd left one.

i dont think i wanna gauge my ears tho. just get to 8ga so i have a thick ring. Idk if i wanna go any farther then that.
