I was raised on the Grateful Dead, my dad was a deadhead (He even named his '89 Ford Bronco II "Touch of Grey" and got a bug deflector with that title in script) but I only started to listen to them myself recently, and I have to say, so much of their music is so peaceful and relaxing--Songs like Box of Rain, Ripple, Touch of Gray have such an upbeat, calming effect. What a great band!
I have always wondered what it feels like to be 18 like you guys and listen to the AWESOME Dead nowadays.....it must be mind-boggling to say the least!! "Once a Deadhead always a Deadhead"
oh yes there is soooo much more to explore. check out tunes like sugaree, the music never stopped, the other one.... great stuff!!!
