Baking soda is not flammable, the cocaine attaches itself to the salt, the coke can then burn off the soda as the soda dont burn the coke burns off it..

In fact I'm not really sure what bakinf soda has to do with it. I know it's used to crystallize the freebase, but why not for meth or amphetamine?

correct, but you can add meth to crack when cooking it. or making crack..
they also can use gasoline, octane booster, the make the flavor of crack zippy or more chemical tasting..

good crack taste sweet and dont taste like chemical and shouldnt get your mouth numb when you smoke it. If your mouth gets numb its not cooked right..

well cocaine is a local anesthetic, so wouldn't it make sense that the smoke filled with it touching your mucus membranes would make them numb?

 

cause crack thats good dont make your mouth numb, it gets your head high..
if your getting numb the smoke is not burning right, Either there is to much soda and the coke is loosely attached to the soda.. it can taste like numb but shouldnt make your mouth numb to pull teeth.. Ive been cooking coke and selling crack since I was 16, and there are crackheads that will buy garbage all night long? Dirty crack keeps them coming back..
