So I was using MySpace, writing someone a message, and you know those True ads with the girls in them? I swear, one of them started interacting with me while I was writing a message. I looked down and she was looking at me. I was like, "WTF..." and kind of made a half-laughing face, and she did the same thing...like it was strange that we weren't acknowledging each other, you know? It was awkward. I've never seen her since... Now I'm looking and it seems like, yeah, there's a camera there. The people seem aware that I'm looking at them at times. So I kept looking, and then I started getting, instead of what looked like a person, really shoddy loops. Seems crazy, yeah, but I'll tell you this much: I'm going to be careful in front of the computer from now on. Flat screen TVs, too. Who knows. Any thoughts? What would the point be...through True on MySpace? Seems like being so blatant would run contrary to trying to protect the public. *shrug*

They're supposed to do what? Mimic your movements? It's hard to explain. I know that some of them are videos, but I am convinced that sometimes they are not as well. But after that, I don't even like to look at those ads. That one time I know the girl was there. After that, I try to X them out as quickly as possible, just because it's embarrassing to me.
Just think, "why the fuck would they monitor a person like myself? Do I know something the goverment, police,etc. wants to know?" You're just 'noid bro.
I'm not suggesting that they monitor me in particular. But that such a technology could be in use to monitor anyone they so choose. What I found disturbing about it is that they must just be being audacious about it. Like they think it's funny or something. And the concern that this technology isn't only being used to protect us, but also for the entertainment of the privileged. Like reality TV or something. As far as I'm concerned I saw it. Have to believe my own eyes.
