Here are two peices i painted whilst at louises (hippy_girl)'shouse. Comments and critique always welcome
Hmmm, I am not sure about the second one. It's to .. i don't know, just random and spontanious? I'd like to know, why it is you created it? (but i can't talk really, its not like i have a plan with my art or an aim) I just don't quite like it, trying to consider it but i just aint sure about it Mister! *hides* you wanted honesty and critique.. you got it.
Hmmm... the first one, I didn't see anything in it at first, but when I looked at it for a while... to me it looks like light escaping darkness, flying into a fire... beautiful! The second one... I still can't see... It moves too fast... Have to think about it... What would you say? ~lovetulip.
The second painting, is really above all else, just a mess around painting. it doesnt really symbolise anything appart from the crazed mood i was in when i painted it. tulip...cheers, i didnt really picture it as a fire really, but i like the interpretation, and yet again i didnt have any expressed purpose in mind when i painted the first painting, the balance between purple and red just came to mind and then it went from there, i added the white because i felt the painting needed some white. I think its more a painting for paintings sake...le art pour le art
Hello me dear I know bugger all about art.. but I thought I'd add my 2 cents worth... Everytime I've looked on this page and looked at the top picture I've always pictured the sun with a little meteor shower attacking it from space... Its not so much an interpretation.. but thats what I saw The second ones a bit gloomy to me.. I see a choppy ocean with blood It might just be cos I just woke up and am a bit tired and gloomy coz I want to go back to bed.. who knows.. Hell I like them I doubt I helped But woo Hope your well Mr Joel Losh!!
i got better lookin toilet paper.. after .. u cant take criticism lol buy some more crayons n practise Jade Warrior... wont waste my art on you...
I like the top one the most... just coz I like the colours... I love the shade of purple... reminds me of Rothko's colours... I loved Rothko's paintings... I remember spending hours just sitting in the Rothko room just soaking in the atmosphere of the paintings... Yeah. like the colours in the first... like the spread from darkness into light... Fuck, I really must take up painting again... Fly...
i like the first one a lot (of course he will give it back to myself and John to stick up in the gallery ). I don't think I have seen the second one before.. or maybe I did *scratches head* you have a real feeling of the sea in the second one. Nice!
if you rotate the first 90degree clockwise a hole differant vision is had .ESCAPING DARKNESS in the center is a figure of an old man/woman sarounded by darkness ither crouching in the darkness scared of what is to come or submerged up to the waist fighting to escape as the cloke of darkness wraps arround. Fear comes to mind... me likes it
people look but do not see . always look deep for what is hidden, seek and you will find ,look from a differant perspective and don't be dissrespective......
