Haha! After I checked the calendar I edited my post, their last day was the 4th, they've been off since the 5th! Anyway, yeah, they started at the end of August.
I'm splendid, as usual. The quittin drinkin is going very well and the singing even better. If life got ant better, i'd just shit.
I am trying my hardest to relax because stress has fucked me over, and I didn't even realize I was stressed until my body went all crazy. But it's okay, I'm actually great for the most part. My summer has been...hot. And I've gotten more hours at work because apparently people are traveling like crazy. It's freaking sweet.
hi kids!! checkin in again....happy canada day!!! how is everyone?? whats new and exciting? im in manitoba now, brandon to be exact, moving onto the base in 2 more days....checked it out, seems alright i guess?! i do have good news for the ladies though, i figured out where all the hot canadian men hide out!!! they're all stashed away on bases, take a stroll through one sometime you'll be pleasantly surprised
i have a bunch of friends in the army not all bases have hotties on them though, i think you got lucky
I am working and schooling and training. I am also generally enjoying summer. I'm learning to enjoy my state/city more, I got tired of it for awhile.
I've been drawing and working outside until I almost pass out. I'm even complaining about the heat and I love hot muggy weather.
dont know about that one sugar shorts....this is the third base i've been to and they're all swarming with hotties....i can say for certain shilo, comox, and moose jaw are top notch boy hunting grounds!! :cheers2:
i start my summer job tomorrow... so i'll be coaching youth and then directly after that, i'll be washing dishes...i'm gonna be one stressed out mofo for a while but i'm excited
good for you fitz!! not so good for those poor kids...haha i know you'll enjoy it, and maybe even learn a thing or 2
my 6 year old LOVES it!! he has a lot more freedom to explore here than he did in the city...we have a path beside our driveway that goes directly to the park behind the school and i can see him playing from my kitchen window...i've got to admit it couldnt be a better place to raise a family. the youngest, well, he doesnt quite know whats going on but he seems to be adjusting well too! its so very quiet here, almost eerie at times, I think I'll learn to love it. how are you missy? how's the little ones?
Awww, that sounds great! Glad to hear that they're enjoying it! I bet the quiet would be so nice too. I live in a bit of a busy area, and sometimes I get so irritated with how much noise there is. Ugh! Definitely want our next move to be to the country, get out of this city life. I'm doing well! The kids are enjoying their summer a lot. My 6 year old starts football practice today and I'm a nervous wreck. He begged for us to sign him up, so we wanted to give him a chance, but my stomach is in knots despite his coach reassuring me that he won't put my boy up against someone much bigger than him. *laughs* His twin sister starts cheerleading practice next week and she can hardly wait. My 9 year old son is doing good, but starting to hit that emotional age, mouthy, slamming doors, stomping up steps, all that. And he feels he must continually remind me that he's going to be turning the double digits soon (December 2nd). He also has to tell anyone who will listen that he will be in the 4th grade this year and that it's his last year with the "babies". Man oh man, I'm going to have my hands full, I can tell.
