If you read in the news you know exactly where the 700 Billion went.... it was shucked up to trickle down economics. If you kept up with the news you will also see that the banks are paying that back now. So that eliminated the question from the economic solution. It was said and done and nothing would be changed. If you read the papers or kept up with the topic, you would know this. The fact that dronelore didnt finish reading was rather pathetic, considering he didnt know that either. Shame.
The banks / industries have spent about 10% of the money we gave them, and the economy has somewhat 'stabilized' Where the fuck is the rest of it? I can't believe you refuse to admit that legalizing weed is not the most important thing in the world right now.
I am not saying, nor have I ever said, that the economy isnt the most important thing right now. We have many important things to worry about, war, the homeless, fixing the economy, repairing our foreign relations policy, structuring the USA so people like Bush will never be in power again and so that crap like the Patriot Act doesnt get pushed through again, etc. However, this thread's topic is Anderson Cooper's look on Legalizing Cannabis, Cannabis Dispensaries, etc. It had nothing to do with the economy. Legalizing weed would actually help the economy. If you had bothered to read my other posts, you would have seen that. The taxes off of it alone would raise enough money to help get the economy up and running again. (Again, I went more in depth on this topic in my previous post, which you stopped reading after the first 2 sentences) Do not close your mind to other people's opinions. They may not reflect your own, and that is fine, but you still need to respect them and not trash them just because you think you are right and they are wrong. Step back and think. Realize they have a different opinion, acknowledge it, and move on. Do not belittle their intelligence, because their opinions do not match your own.
