https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S4K3aM5H5KM I think I am going to murder someone. Holmes was very hygienic, clean-shaven, and a gentleman. I have lost faith in mankind.
...I was under the impression that you're completely and totally wrong. But that might be because the only real exposure I've had to Sherlock Holmes has been his American doctor counterpart, Dr. Gregory House. But as far as I know, they are VERY VERY similar in character. Drug addicted snarky geniuses.
Holmes wasn't a drug addict he used narcotics in very few of the stories and it was only refrenced because it was edgy at the time. But I admit that Hugh Lauries take on Shelock is the best I've ever seen. Holmes is like House M.D. on steroids.
I think I'd like to watch the movie anyhow, the trailer intrigued me. But that reminds me, I need to brush up on my House, I'm a few seasons behind.
You must be incredibly intelligent to have read Doyle at 4. Most kids can't even read then. Here is a medal
Is that the version where Holmes is a Communist? He wants Watson to redistribute mystery cases to other detectives.
I remember watching a series of Russian Sherlock Holmes flicks that were pretty good. When I was a kid, anyway. And I've read "Hound of the Baskervilles." I think the movie looks badass. I like how they seem to have a sharp and observant Watson as opposed to the fat bumbling sidekick he's usually portrayed as.
