this guy almost bit my hand off today

on the way to work he was crossing the street, almost to the other side, but i wanted to help him and he hissed at me and stuck his neck out and almost attacked me. then he turned around trying to act all tough and started walking the way he came from.

i love turtles... but i do not love snapper turtles as much as the others.

 

i bet it was a girl, that's why it was a bitch

 

I love them too. In the Galapagos I did some dives and swum with some giant ones. One of my best diving experiences!

 

wow, turtles are so unappreciative. lol

i help them cross the road too. last week i picked up a gigantic turtle in the middle of the road. i expected it to just 'turtle up' but it stuck all its extremities out and started to wiggle violently when i picked him up. i had to bear hug it for him to calm down. haha.

 

wow i would love to go to the galapagos... turtles are absolutely amazing. last march i saw an injured little turtle in the middle of the road so i took him home and nursed him back to health, and he doesn't want to leave. i put him outside and he'd follow me. he is an amazing little guy.

 

hahaha. was it a snapper? i can't stand them really. in the lake by my house there's a lot of red box and snappers... for a while i was trying to get my pet turtle a friend but all i could find were snappers they are ugly too

 

Ha ha raz5, thats so funny. I wish you had seen the thread I posted about the tortoise I found crossing the road near my house. I had to stop all the traffic to stop it getting run over and then I picked it up, then I had to fight some guy that wanted to take it home to his wife because hers had died. I literally had to run into somebody's house and call the cops because he tried to assault me. I took it home and kept it in my bathtub and then I went back that night and found the owner.

 

it was a florida tortoise . they are really common and can be found all over the place. sometimes i don't stop to help because there are some many.


snappers are cool for being aquatic.

hahaha oh my gosh a couple of weeks ago i saw the cutest mamma red tummied box turtle crossing the street so i pulled the car over, ... well i stopped in the middle of the road, started running to the turtle and cars were coming i was screaming 'YOU GUYS STOP THERE IS A TURTLE RIGHT THERE STOP' one car almost hit it i was freeking out;. i'm such a dorker when it comes to animals.

 

that is a cute turtle i hope it looked like that.




no they are not cool, sea turtles are cool, snapper turtles.. come on now, what's the point of that tail. why? and what... are they cool with their ridged shells? huh?

no they are not. they are jerks. didn't you read my title, he almost ate me ramble. ate me. i don't think you care about me that much because he could have eaten me and dragged me into the lake.

At the ranch, they shoot the snappers in the pond/tank 'cuz they'll eat up the fish.

i don't like it, but i don't count.
