how do you go about getting that one shade of hair people with dreads seem to have a lot? idk, hard to describe, but it's like a light brownish-blond mix i guess, kind of darker but shaded to look light (? did that even make sense?) hopefully someone knows what i'm talking about.

Do you mean how the tips seem to fade and be lighter then the rest of the hair? Pretty sure that just happens over time to the older hurrz

Yeah sun. Also without the conditioner and protection most people have in their hair -especially if you rinse with lemon juice, and sun dry I'd bet it is a lot easier to get sun faded/highlighted dreads
    .
Wear sunblock for your skin though

Coulda just inherited the irish completion- same as I only seem to have inherited the french pasty skin instead of any of the other mish mosh of genetic easier tanning skin(or the irish ginger insta burn freckle skin my sis got)..

With pale skin you gotta e careful. Outside mowing lawn with no shirt is asking for a nasty sunburn and THAT is upping your skin cancer risk.Do go outside, do go out in the sun as much as possible but I woudn't play without sunblock(you can still get a little tan,and sunkissed with sunblock)-
but hey if you do aloe will be nice on hair and skin:p

..says the pale ass Florida girl who has had too many burns

Im almost albino white, or so it seems in comparison to people here who are between gold and light brown, Im just your average white guy but sinve my schedule is upside down and I wake up at around 4pm if not later I dont get much sun which makes me paler, and malnutricion pays a part.... Im starting to realize why most people think Im a junkie...

you need longer hair for the fade effect. its cause by the hair being far from the scalp and not recieving oils. Loses its pigment. A summer in the sun will do the job
