Pop superstar Michael Jackson dead at 50

Michael Jackson was pronounced dead this afternoon, the Los Angeles Times reported. The pop star arrived at a hospital in a deep coma, city and law enforcement sources told the Times.



Jackson was rushed to a hospital in Los Angeles after he suffered a heart attack. Paramedics administered CPR in the ambulance, according to TMZ.


TMZ reported that the call to 9-1-1 came in about 12:21 p.m. P.S.T. (3:21 p.m. Eastern) from Jackson's home in Los Angeles.


Capt. Steve Ruda of the Los Angeles Fire Department said Jackson was not breathing when paramedics arrived, the Los Angeles Times reported. The singer was taken to UCLA Medical Center.


The singer's 50-show residency at London's O2 Arena is supposed to kick off July 13.

He not only influenced music and dance but I remember my nephews when they were twelve and eight insisting they had to have Michael Jackson red jackets. They thought they looked so cool and they did.

Sure he had problems. But he was an innovator. The moonwalk alone should win him a place in the cultural history books.

Never understood that codpiece thing he tried out, but it never caught on anyway.

Will be missed.

He had a hard life from the get go. And Seeing that the sign he fell under being virgo I think made him more bent on appearance and critique. though you could see this by every appearance he made and stuff that he did.

However I think this helped made him more mentally distruat and to the point of thinking that him being black was bad in appearance and with constant failed surgeries it was a mess.

I don't believe he was a pedophile, he just made a huge opening to be accused of it and at a bad time, It didnt matter whether you where found guilty or not, as soon you are brought to court for such a crime it will never been seen as otherwise against you.

Do I think she was spamming the papers to raise money for her kids? No, force of habit, it's what she's always done. The world is a better place without her.

I'd like to say it's sad when anyone dies but this simply isn't true. the world can profit by certain people's death.
