Walk in the woods anyone?

Today after work I took a hike at a park near my house. It was there the whole time I lived in NY (like 10 years) and I had never really explored it.
So today I just went up around a pond it has and found a whole maze of paths through the woods. The trails went to a bunch of places for fire pits and all kinds of little water falls and rocks. I can't believe I never knew about this until now.

 

I love takin hikes, exploring is fun as hell. I like to go see places that you generally cant just drive in to. It has a nice rewarding feeling about it.

Yeah smoking and hiking are two activities that compliment each other well.

 

fuck yeah i love hiking too, or wandering around outside...bugs suck, but i guess you work though that.

just the other night my friends and i rolled a fat blunt and wandered through a nearby park, we sat on some rocks on the shore of the lake and listened to the frogs sing for us, slash try and attract one another.

but yeah wandering in the woods and searching for beautiful nooks to smoke is awesome

my first 2 years of college kicked ass, we were at a tiny school (small campus for a larger school in the city where i go now) anyway pretty woodsy college. like bridges and stuff, tons of paths and old grave yards, the campus was beautiful!

our campus has a history of drug use with teachers and the DEA being called...in the 80s so it was nothing new. its a 2 year school so only freshman and sophomores. the sophomore class abvoe me sucked, SUCKED ass, but our class was awesome, more of us smoked than drank and plenty of us did both. if we saw people walkn to the woods you knew what was up. after class got out it was always like "yo you wanna go to the bridge" and we'd go sit on the bridge or a stone meditation circle or fuckn in the woods and smoke.

it was amazing my sophomore year cuz the freshman were pretty much as chill as we were. man everyone smoked with everyone it was fuckn beautiful!

side note, there were several times when there would be at least 15 sometimes up to 25 people tripping at once and roaming the woods.

hence i have much nostalgia for my first two years of college. although ive been told not to go back by many of the underclassmen because apparently the woods are paved through and some bullshit

but :sifone: in the woods is just fucking i dont know its like bringing the herb back to nature and smoking it where it came from, extra spiritual perhaps?

 

walking through the woods is the best thing ever. i take my dog up the paths behind my house. it's a lot of fun, and i always find weird things that i never discovered before. once i found this little pond with a shit ton of frogs/tadpoles in it!

 

Oh man!!! we should organize a Stoners lounge camping trip. Like get a few people together all pitch tents at a site and then hike and camp out for a weekend. It would be cheap and awesome!

anyone ever hotboxed a tent? my best friend pitched one in the woods at school, kids kinda crazy, but he slept out there some nights

we hotboxed that thing on many occasions, and it works well

 

Yeah baking out a tent is awesome. Ive got a small 2 person tent, it boxes nicely.

 

nice i have a 3-4 person tent, i like sleeping with 2 people in it, but smoking 5 or so works out comfortably

 

Yeah Mines barely enough room for 2, so you better like the person your sharing it with lol. My buddy and I slept 2 in it over easter and it was kinda nice because it was small enough that we kept the tent at like 45 degrees when the outside temp was in the upper 20's

Yeah I was thinkin like camping near a mountain or something, then Hike said mountain with forumers. To me that would be a lot of fun.

Yeah. I think somewheres in like central PA would be a good meeting spot, I dunno about hiking there though Id have to look into it.
