it was legendary.

 

my neighbors and myself kept running into bad acid, and I was really hoping to find some as I have no idea where to find it where i live... oh well.

 

i stick to smaller psytrance and psychedelic music festivals.

no bunk acid.

 

meh tbh you really shouldn't be relying on festivals as your lsd source in the first place.

 

I was only relying on it as I had just decided to try it and didnt know where to start and was already going to bonnaroo.

 

well yea i wasn't saying you shouldn't get acid there at all. i mean you might as well while your there. just that you shouldn't rely on festivals as your sole source of lsd.

but if you are getting doses there you just have to be careful about what you buy. really only certain types of people sell good acid. you can usually tell them apart from other people fairly easily. look for hippy looking guys who seem pretty mellowed out or confused and whose pupils are dilated. usually if the guy is legit he won't be hesitant to let you try some of his wares. also people with good drugs will generally have lots of good drugs. if they have good coke, or good mushrooms, or good opium, or good well.. anything, then they probably have good lsd.

but really you want your lsd sources to be people that are from back home and that you know well. i'm friends with all the people i know that sell(have?) acid. lol. i dunno man just broaden your horizons. its there.

 

Brought my own liquids to the roo, didnt have any trouble in that area... Ended up with a badass camping setup and alot of really good friends from college, so I didnt see nearly as much music as you did, but had a fuckin blast of a weekend.

1 thing i couldn't get my hands on was really really good headies for most of the weekend. As usual alot of the coke and moli/rolls were shitty, but you need to have a taste for these things if you expect to not get ripped off.

Overall I give this years bonnaroo a 8/10, wish it didnt rain like saigon thursday night, but still a worthwhile adventure. I think ill be doing rothbury and jam cruise next year instead. But for now off to Roskilde festival in the DK, travelling with all kinds of great supplies going to find some friendly folks to camp with hopefully.

sounds like fun man. if there is one thing i learned from this year it is that you kind of have to bring your own party to the roo. alot of the people and atmosphere there just weren't very beneficial to maintaining a positive experience -- aside from the people i was camping out with and all our neighbors, as well as some of the people at the more hippy sets.

good headies was hard to come by. i brought an eighth of personal. i saw some good headies a few times but to be honest it really didn't even come close to comparing to the stuff that i brought. it really sucked when my eighth ran out on the third day.

i didn't do coke there but some of my friends had a real adventure finding some. molly was an adventure too.

i'm trying to get together the funds for allgood. it's getting pretty close and i'm still pretty broke so i doubt it's going to happen. i'm also pretty tired after bonnaroo. i took an insane amount of psychedelics there... i kind of need a break.

what you should have done is brought your party out to the sets instead of partying at your tents =) although if you were drinking the whole time i guess that's kind of out of the question. 6 dollar what?

i will definitely be going to bonnaroo next year assuming all my friends do. which im sure they will.

 

lol That's who the narcs look for too. If I sold acid there I would wear a hoodie, dark glasses, not be tripping, If I had a cute chick with me she could find out easier and faster who was looking to score for me. She could be tripping and "looking the part"

 

All good is a hoot, I went last year and had a blast.... ALOT more relaxed than bonnaroo and the smaller festivals always seem to have better vibes me thinks.

 

meh. narcs or the police were really my last concern there. if someone had really tried to arrest me or take away my drugs i would have just been like "fuck no you aren't"

one of my friends did get arrested though. but i mean the lengths to which he went were outrageous. first of all he got kicked out of bonnaroo for being backstage and then started talking shit to some state trooper on the side of the road while he had a headfull of acid. he did post bail though and snuck back into bonnaroo later that night, lmao!

bonnaroo was kind of like a refuge from the government.

yea, i'd imagine. that really makes me want to go lol. i don't know if my mind can really handle another festival though. the problem is that i know a couple people that are going and a few more that are working the event that all keep trying to get me to go. the temptation is definitely there. plus the lineup is quite spectacular.

i guess i could just trip there once though. i mean what's the worst that could happen?

 

man, i was tripping so hard when i made this thread. i was off baseline for over a week after bonnaroo. and that was after the bulk of my almost 100 hour trip.

i remember typing and writing words not making any sense and trying to remember what the in the hell the written english language was and trying to figure out how to make sense with it.

 

I go to bonnaroo every year and have always had a great time. There is alot of fake cid going around though, the main reason being that there are vendors selling perforated sheets of blotter art and alot of the dickheads that now come to the festival since it has become more commercialized simply sell them as lsd. Make friends with people, dont get in a hurry to buy some, take your time, look around. If the person is really legit they will let you sample. I had a guy give me and a friend a hit a piece for free to try out and it was good so we came back and bought a ten strip. Also met a guy with some really good cid at the phish show on sunday night that was unperforated and said it was from california and being the cool guy that he was sold me two hits for $5 a piece. Only deal with the more friendly people not the sketched out crowd.
