unfortunately these attitudes exist where i live, too. i live in a very close-minded conservative area
I get lots of stares when I'm out in public, usually I just give 'em a big smile and most of the time, they smile back, and sometimes they approach me with positive comments or questions. I can think of only one time that I was annoyed by someone staring....I was eating at a restaraunt, and this guy could not stop staring, he couldn't look away from my head. I caught his eye and smiled and he just kept staring. Made me feel pretty uncomfortable.
it is the WORST when you make eye contact with someone, and then look away, knowing they are still staring.
I feel like I'm stared at all the time. I just figure it's cuz I'm smokin'. On an aside... I was just in the Midwest (Indiana and Wisconsin) last weekend. Since you're round the area, do you plan on hittin' up Rothbury? I had an amazing time last year. Good times.
I stare at people with dreads..only the guys though...most of them are HOT my pizza guy was hot with dreads... ahh..anyways. dede you should get dreads.
I think staring is a compliment from the fucking retards who do it. They can't use their words to tell you how amazingly unique you are, so they do what they can- stare and drool.
haha I agree with Deranged I never really thought of Indiana like that but haha I guess I've had a biased view from the suburban viewpoint
yeah I went last year and had a great time too, I'm going again this year. and wtf is with the unkind posts, assholes? being cruel to someone you don't even know on an internet forum is petty and small. Get lives.
I live in Michigan too and people are not like this but it might just be my city area. I do not like blacks though.
