how do you guys clean your waterpipes?

buy those expensive liquid cleaners from headshops or 79Cent rubbing alcohol?

any of you guys have good tips on cleaning agents?

 

Isopropyl alcohol and kosher salt.

 

wat does the salt do?

 

I just use boiling water and salt, or vinegar too if it's really dirty.

 

The salt acts as an abrasive but also gets dissolved by the alcohol so you may have to add more.

 

Its an abrasive, to scrub off the resin.



You put your piece the alcohol and salt together and shake it.


Put pipes in a bag.

Some salts work better, I forget the names.



I dont wanna say alkali salts, cause that would just explode...

grunge off......best shit ever invented.....nuff said

 

I have a big ass jar full of isopropyl that I just rotate my pieces through. If you leave them soak for a couple days, you can run them under hot water and they get pretty clean.

Sand works better than salt because it doesn't dissolve.

 

how many times can you use grunge off, one use per bottle?

i'd like to clean it every nite if possible. something i can just spray and rinse?
